About the event
A Wedding Story by Bryony Lavery is a comedic, heartfelt and occasionally heartbreaking look at different attitudes to marriage and relationships.
Dark and witty, the intertwined stories appear as fragments of memory as we learn about the lasting love shared between Evelyn and Peter; see their daughter Sally fall in love, and challenge her own presumptions for familial and romantic love; meet Grace, seated at the Flotsam table with Sally; Robin, the remote brother and confidant; not to mention Rick and Isla, on permanent repeat in Casablanca.
