We are always keen to hear from people who are interested in directing, whether you are an experienced director or have never directed a play, whether you have a play you want to do or are looking for ideas.

Inexperienced or first-time directors can take advantage of our mentoring scheme which may include the opportunity to take on a shorter one-act play. Please register your interest as soon as possible by contacting the head of the play reading committee or any member of the main committee, whose details are available on the Contact Us page on this website.

Plays for the next season are submitted for the end of December for consideration of the committee.

We have a list of approved full-length and one-act plays for you to consider. These have all been approved by our Play Reading Group as potential productions. There are also Priority plays which are those that we are particularly keen to put on - they just need a director, could it be you? If you have another play in mind to direct, please let us know.
