Hull Truck Company's production of this richly humorous, affectionate and touching portrait of life in the West Yorkshire coalfields won a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival and was presented in London at the Donmar Warehouse Theatre. Spanning the late 1940s to the 1980s and telling the story of a family in a mining community. This play is moving, funny and will bring back all the memories from the 50s, 60s and 70s, with some of the best music in any play.
