Adapted by Simon Stephens from the novel by Mark Haddon, following Christopher Boone, a brilliant 15-year-old who struggles with social interaction.
After discovering his neighbour’s dog has been killed, Christopher sets out to solve the mystery, documenting his investigation. His search for the truth leads him beyond his comfort zone, uncovering hidden family secrets that challenge his sense of trust and security.
As he faces overwhelming situations, including travelling alone, Christopher shows courage and determination. The play explores themes of truth, trust, and independence, offering a powerful insight into his unique perspective and personal growth.
